POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Python Developer
is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining
enterprise-grade applications, APIs, automation solutions, AI/ML models, and
industrial system integrations that support the organization's Digital
Transformation initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business
stakeholders, the digital team, and cross-functional departments to deliver
scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
The ideal candidate brings
strong engineering discipline across the Python ecosystem, hands-on experience
integrating IT and OT systems, and the ability to translate business needs into
reliable, production-ready software that improves operational efficiency,
governance, and decision-making.

POSITION OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Develop enterprise-grade RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
• Build modular, reusable, and maintainable software components.
• Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability.
Enterprise & Industrial Integration
• Develop integrations with SAP ERP and enterprise applications.
• Integrate industrial systems including PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA, MQTT, and Historian databases.
• Build middleware for seamless data exchange between OT and IT systems.
Data Engineering & Automation
• Design ETL pipelines and data processing frameworks.
• Develop workflow and business process automation solutions.
• Build data validation and transformation frameworks.
• Optimize data movement across enterprise platforms.
Artificial Intelligence & Analytics
• Support AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Develop predictive analytics and forecasting solutions.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Support MLOps implementation and model lifecycle management.
Database Management
• Design and optimize relational databases.
• Develop high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Improve database performance and ensure data integrity.
DevOps & Deployment
• Manage source code using Git / GitHub.
• Support CI/CD implementation.
• Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in production deployments and release management.
Documentation & Governance
• Prepare technical documentation, API documentation, and user manuals.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding standards and cybersecurity policies.
• Support audit, compliance, and knowledge-transfer activities.
Job Requirement
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Programming: Python, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), FastAPI, Flask, Django, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture
Data Engineering: Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, ETL development, data pipeline development
Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
Industrial Technologies: SAP integration, OPC-UA, MQTT, PLC integration, SCADA integration, Historian systems
Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
Artificial Intelligence: Scikit-Learn, predictive analytics, time-series forecasting, ML deployment, MLOps, Generative AI
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in Manufacturing, Metals, Mining, or Process industries.
• Experience in Digital Transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT).
